STEM & Tech Coaching for Kenyan Learners

I coach students studying Computer Studies to master practical digital skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, and Adobe tools. Additionally, learners explore programming concepts, algorithms, pseudocode, flowcharts, structured programming, and data structures. Through hands-on exercises, students develop problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and creativity, all while completing their own work under ethical guidance. My mentorship focuses on ethical guidance in MS Access, Visual Basic 6 / VB.NET, and other relevant platforms. Students learn to design, plan, and implement projects independently, building competence, confidence, and real-world technology skills essential for future STEM opportunities.

I empower senior secondary learners in the STEM pathway to excel in Computer Studies through practical applications, tech projects, competitions, and symposiums. This coaching fosters innovation, leadership, and advanced problem-solving, preparing students for higher education, tech careers, and entrepreneurial ventures.

I provide guidance to learners in TVET institutions, colleges, and universities pursuing tech-related courses. My mentorship supports students in their project work, web applications (front-end to full-stack), database systems, and web-based technologies and frameworks. Students gain structured guidance while maintaining ownership of their projects and developing essential skills.

Coaching is offered via multiple flexible formats:

• Physical sessions: At parent-organized locations, schools, or collaborative events. Can also serve as a keynote or guest speaker.
• Online sessions: Flexible virtual coaching accessible from home or school.
• Blended approach: Combining physical and online coaching for maximum flexibility and impact.

To ensure quality learning and ethical practice:

• Co-coaching with TSC-approved teachers for curriculum alignment.
• Parents/guardians supervise junior learners during online sessions.
• Sessions conducted outside school hours: evenings, weekends, or school holidays, or as arranged by institutions.

• Provide necessary tools and resources, including computers, software, and internet access.
• Ensure sessions have approved supervision by a parent, guardian, or teacher for safety.

• I do not complete or submit projects for students; guidance only.
• Students learn concepts, apply tools, and develop skills independently.

I am a professional with extensive experience in STEM & Tech mentorship. While delivering high-quality coaching, I am not primarily focused on fees. I sometimes offer sessions as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, giving back to the community and nurturing future tech leaders.
