Your child will be learning under the guidance of an experienced technology educator, mentor and practitioner with over 10 years of experience across IT training, academic instruction, technology development and digital transformation.
Pro Chris is a NITA-certified Training of Trainers (ToT) who has taught and lectured at institutions of higher learning, including Mount Kenya University, before transitioning into private practice.
His experience extends beyond the classroom. Over the years, he has mentored and guided numerous college and university students, helping them develop practical technology skills, complete technology projects and grow into confident IT professionals.
His work with young people also extends to Junior Secondary School learners. For over a year, Pro Chris has been mentoring and coaching JSS learners in several schools, helping them develop practical technology skills while nurturing curiosity, creativity, confidence and problem-solving abilities.
He also works with secondary school learners and KCSE leavers, helping them understand career pathways in Computing, Information Technology and Computer Science and make more informed decisions about their future.
For secondary school learners pursuing technology-related subjects, Pro Chris provides guidance on student projects and Science & Engineering Congress projects, helping learners move from ideas to practical technology-based solutions.
He is particularly passionate about mentoring young people and helping the next generation discover their potential through technology. His mentorship interests extend to emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), where he encourages students to understand not only how technology works, but how they can use it to create, innovate and solve real-world problems.
Pro Chris brings together something particularly valuable for this programme: the knowledge of a technology professional, the experience of an educator, and the passion of a mentor who genuinely enjoys helping young people discover what they can become.
